El Hijo, a stealthy spaghetti-western from Berlin-based Honig Studios, is being published by HandyGames in 2019.

After a farmer and her son are attacked by bandits who raze their farm to the ground, she decides to leave the six year old at a local monastery to keep him safe and gain an education, but El Hijo finds that a life with the monks is not for him and escapes to journey the Wild West in search of his mother.

El Hijo takes a non-violent approach to stealth, instead hiding and "shadowplay" are at the core. With each challenge he overcomes, El Hijo gains self-confidence and cunning, devising innovative schemes to get past his foes.
Variations of existing mechanics are introduced gradually and then combined with each other to offer up new challenges without needlessly adding more mechanics.

El Hijo is set to release next year on Xbox One, PS4, Switch, PC and Mac.
