Destiny 2 beta goes live later this month

A beta for Bungie's Destiny 2 will launch in a couple of weeks, and those who pre-order on PlayStation 4 will get the most time out of it.

18 July is the start date for those who pre-order on Sony's console, whilst Xbox One players can jump in a day later on 19 July. The beta will open up to all console players on 21 July but PC gamers will have to wait until late August.

The beta will feature the Homecoming Story mission, Inverted Spire Strike and Countdown PvP mode. There could also be a few secrets included.

Destiny 2 is available to pre-order now (you can nab some extras with the 2 special editions) and is due to release 6 September on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
