Titanfall developer rumoured to be unveiling free-to-play Battle Royale game later today

Titanfall 2 developer Respawn Entertainment will be unveiling a new game later this evening, known as Apex Legends.

The game is widely believed to be a free-to-play Battle Royale title set within the Titanfall universe, and will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Respawn’s Vince Zampella promised to reveal “everything” about the game, following a weekend of leaks, in a Twitch stream taking place later this evening, at around 8PM GMT.

Rumours suggest the game will not feature titans, instead favouring classes and hero setups with unique abilities. Team sizes will be limited to a maximum of three, with up to 60 players per server.

You can watch the reveal here. The stream is currently live and seems to be switching between what could possibly be map locations, with a few brief snapshots of action and cutscenes thrown in every now and then.
