Crackdown 3 delayed until spring 201817/8/2017
Crackdown 3 will no longer be launching alongside the Xbox One X on 7 November after Microsoft pushed back the release date into early next year.
In an interview with Polygon, Loftis said that moving the game’s release date was a “difficult call”, but a necessary one.
“We want to make sure to deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time. Crackdown 3 is a hugely ambitious game and we want to ensure we deliver the right experiences all the way through every part of the game, whether that’s campaign, co-op multiplayer or our competitive multiplayer mode, Wrecking Zone.” “Getting the balance right between the three modes is important, and we are going to take the extra development time to ensure that.” Disappointed by the delay? Let us know your thoughts below. Gamescom is just around the corner and Square Enix Collective will be showing off 5 indie titles. Forgotten Anne is a 2D cinematic adventure title from ThroughLine Games. The titular Anne is an enforcer who keeps order in the Forgotten Realm and is attempting to squash a rebellion that may prevent her boss, and herself, from returning to the human world. Next up is Titutitech's Oh My Godheads, a multiplayer capture-the-flag type game but instead of flags, players will be tasked with capturing an ancient head. A head that is alive, angry and after you. Psychological horror, Tokyo Dark, “puts a new spin” on point-and-click adventures by adding a branching storyline with melancholic undertones. The disappearance of Detective Ito's partner seems to be a straightforward case but soon spirals into a twisted nightmare. The S.P.I.N system (Sanity, Professionalism, Investigation, Neurosis) keeps track of your decisions and changes what actions are available to you and how other characters react. The final title on show, Deadbeat Heroes, is a 3D, movement based multiplayer brawler. It's all about dodging bullets and stealing superpowers. There's no trailer as of yet but we don't have long to wait until the event.
