Nintendo have confirmed the release date for their first ever mobile game featuring the iconic plumber. Take a look at the video below for an overview of Super Mario Run. Super Mario Run was “developed under the direction of Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto,” according to Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and “brings a new take on the series’ beloved action-platforming gameplay to iPhone and iPad for the first time.”

Though it’s yet to be officially confirmed by either Marvel or Telltale, we now know the result of the two companies’ partnership will be a game based on Guardians of the Galaxy.
Telltale’s Marvel project has a planned release date of 2017, which would tie-in nicely with the arrival of Marvel’s second Guardians of the Galaxy film.
Last year’s Game Awards was Telltale’s event of choice when announcing their Batman series, so hopefully we’ll hear more about their latest project at this year’s ceremony. Are you looking forward to seeing Guardians of the Galaxy given the Telltale treatment? Share your thoughts with us in the forums or comment below. Take part in a daring rescue mission in Homefront: The Revolution’s latest single player DLC11/11/2016 Homefront: The Revolution’s second single player DLC is now available to download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Walker has been captured by the KPA and set to broadcasting anti-revolutionary propaganda, something which doesn’t go down to well with the struggling Resistance. Rather than going through with the hit, Brady instead opts to conduct a daring rescue mission to free Walker from captivity.
Aftermath is available for free to holders of The Homefront Expansion Pass, or can be purchased separately for $5.99 or the regional equivalent. It’s the second single player DLC added to the game after The Voice of Freedom launched in September. Also being added to the game alongside the new solo content is a brand new Resistance Mode Mission, available to all players for free. The new Mission, titled Uncle S.A.M, tasks players with countering the KPA’s dominance of the skies by deploying S.A.M launchers (get it?) before attempting to “take out the Air Force’s high command in a deadly strike”. Are you still enjoying Homefront: The Revolution? Will you be picking up the latest DLC? Let us know in the forums or comment below. It looks as though we won't be getting a new Metro title following speculation over the past few days. The rumours began when the official site for the latest book in the series, Metro 2035, appeared to reveal that a new Metro game would be releasing sometime next year. A post on the official Metro Facebook page confirmed fans of the games will have to wait for their next fix of post-apocalyptic action:
“As the exclusive rights holder to videogames set in the Metro 2033 universe, Deep Silver has ambitious plans for the hugely successful Metro series. But just to manage our fans’ expectations – releasing the next Metro game in 2017 is not one of them. When we have more news to share, we will. Thank you for your patience.” The timeline now shows ‘an untitled Metro project’ in place of the 2017 game, with the description “the Metro saga doesn’t end where the books leave us… An era of great discoveries lies ahead!” Are you disappointed there will be no new Metro game coming next year? Share your thoughts with us in the forums or comments. The seasonal onslaught of games continues with the imminent arrival of two highly anticipated sequels.

BioWare unveil a new Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer, Mass Effect 2 & 3 now backwards compatible7/11/2016 It’s N7 day, so that means there’s a brand new Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer for fans to enjoy.
The mission to reach Andromeda begins in 2185, just before the events of Mass Effect 2, and it looks like the far-flung setting and new timeline will allow BioWare to freely introduce new species and gameplay features without interfering with any of the franchises’ established lore. Xbox One users got a little extra surprise this N7 day, with news that Mass Effect 2 and 3 will be joining the original game as backwards compatible on the console. All three titles are also accessible from the EA Access vault for subscribers to download and enjoy. Mass Effect: Andromeda launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in spring 2017.
