The trailer is only available in Japanese at the moment, but it’s still worth checking out just to see how impressive Woody and co. look in video game form, which Jason Katz, Story Supervisor at Pixar Animation Studios said “mirrors the level of quality that we strive to achieve with every Pixar film.” Kingdom Hearts III is out on Xbox One and PS4 sometime in 2018. Co-op rogue-like Barbaric announced12/7/2017 Developed by Ignited Artists - a team of industry veterans helmed by a former Vice President at Activision Blizzard and a Executive Producer at Sega - Barbaric is a co-op dungeon crawler in which your friends soon become enemies. Friendly fire is enabled throughout, necessitating a cautious approach. That is until the the end of mission. Former allies may become enemies, as only one can take the boss token and exchange it for valuable loot. The combat is inspired by traditional fighting games. Scott Foe, Game Director of Barbaric, had this to say:
"We tossed out everything from the classics and borrowed from fighting games to deliver the smoothest, most-thoughtful experience in the genre." Ignited Artists' Chief Executive, Alessandro Tento, added, "Great gameplay is paramount to the Barbaric experience, and Barbaric is also the most-visually beautiful rogue-like ever created. The world has been waiting 37 years for this game." Barbaric is due to release on Steam near the back end of 2017. Do you like the sound of Barbaric? Would you help a friend gain some powerful loot or stab them in the back and take the spoils for yourself? Let us know in comments below or over in our forums.
